Replace Toilet

I began by building the new toilet in the restroom, then proceeded to vacuum all the water from the existing toilet and began to remove it. Once it was removed, I noticed the existing flange had to be raised. The previous plumber had installed 2 wax rings stacked above each other. I brought this to the customer's attention and gave her pricing for a flange repair. After getting approval I began to chip some tile so the new flange could sit perfectly. I then proceeded to install a spacer and use silicone to seal the spacer and flanges together as well as 3” screws to secure the flange to the floor. I then set the new toilet in place and performed multiple flushes to ensure there were no leaks. At this time there were no leaks in my scope of work.
